Excellent location with the best views. You will find peace and tranqility here with all the comforts of home. Very comfortable beds, linens, plush towels, heated bathroom floors, awesome soaking tubs and crazy good showers... all kitchen needs at your fingertips.... wood burning fireplace with ample firewood as well as gas logs upstairs and downstairs... ample room for family gathering or corporate retreat. Great outdoor space and gas grill with plenty of parking. The design and furnishings of this property were well thought out with attention to detail. It is minutes to the Blueridge Parkway, hiking, good food, shopping and entertainment. We rebooked this property before we checked out. Aaron, our host, was responsive within minutes and so helpful.

The location - Breathtaking views on top of a hill with beautiful sunrises peeking over the mountainside as well as peaceful and serene surroundings. So many ways to enjoy the outdoors with very accessible hikes on property and not far from other sites.

The house - It is spacious and updated with panoramic views of the mountainside that makes you feel comfortable and welcome as if it was your own home.

Waynesville - Downtown Waynesville and the surrounding area has plenty to do; with outdoor activities for the family, great breweries and places to grab a bite or to satisfy your sweet tooth. The location is also a short drive into Asheville that has plenty to do as well.

Overall - This Smoky Mountain retreat was breathtaking and a great place to take in the beauty of the outdoors without sacrificing your luxury and comfort. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone that is planning a trip to NC. We will be back very soon!

There was so much to explore in the local Waynesville area, including creeks and waterfalls. The house is very close to the entrance of the Blue Ridge parkway which was great! Lots of great hiking trails and waterfalls near by. The views from the house was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean and had all amenities we needed. We can’t wait to go back!

The house we visited in Waynesville was fantastic from start to finish. Our entire party thoroughly enjoyed our family retreat there! The outdoor surroundings provided breathtaking sunrise and sunset mountain views. The home was adequately supplied for our needs and we felt at home largely in part to how clean and prepared the home was. Space was plentiful which allowed us all our own spaces to relax. We would love to visit this home again in the future. Lastly, the proximity to Asheville was a plus and Waynesville itself offered fun shops to visits. We also enjoyed a few interesting local restaurants and breweries all within a 15-20 minute drive of the home. Absolutely the experience we desired!

This location was ✨PERFECT✨ for our family Christmas vacation! The views were stunning & it felt like home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen, but collectively, our favorite part was the wood burning fireplace where we talked and laughed for hours.

Upon arriving, we were absolutely stunned by the view, the ample parking space, and the well maintained and decorated home! My group was of 5 couples looking for a short getaway from the city, and it was so nice that we all had our own bathrooms and space, along with windows & a view from every room. It was everything we wanted - beautiful, relaxing and welcoming. We're already thinking about how we can come back next year! Couple of other things that were just SO nice: * The kitchen was incredible. We thought about eating out, but found ourselves happily cooking for every meal. What a delight!! * The location (not just the view) is fantastic. We were able to hike, get groceries, go to an alpaca farm, and visit a casino... all within 25 minute drive. * The property was beautiful. The small gardened areas, the large driveway for us all to park comfortably, the secluded nature meant our dog could play the best fetch of his life! But perhaps my favorite part: We were continuously amazed at how responsive the host & property manager were!! They were patient and understanding as I checked with them about a few things throughout the weekend. All in all, thank you thank you to the host!
